When and where will the ceremony take place for the year 2025?

The European City University Annual Grand Convocation Ceremony 2025 will take place on Friday, October 3rd at Maison de l'Amérique latine, 217 Bld Saint Germain, 75007, Paris, France

Will the ceremony be live-streamed?

A live-stream will not be available. A highlights of the ceremony will be available on our youtube channel. 

Will there be any celebrations after the ceremony?

Yes. Following the ceremony, there will be a champagne cocktail with French canapés at the terrace for all attendees from about 2:00pm to 2:45pm. 

What does the ceremony fee include for graduates?

The graduation ceremony fee for graduands is EURO400. Additional guest passes are available for purchase at EURO190 per guest.

  • University scarf
  • Coffee break (during registration)
  • Hard copy diploma
  • University souvenirs
  • Champagne cocktail & canapé (after the ceremony)
  • Photography (photos will be sent via email within 14 days after the ceremony)
How many tickets can i buy for my family?

Not more than two (2). Write to enquiry@cityu.edu.eu or Whatsapp +33 7 44 91 86 01 to check for seat availability before making the decision. 

What is the dress code for the ceremony

Formal attire is required for all students, including a conservative jacket and tie for men. Jeans are only permitted for accompanying guests. Athletic shoes or casual clothing are not permitted. 

Those not adhering to the dress code, even those who have already paid for tickets, will not be admitted.

Do i need to buy a ticket for my young child?

Children are not permitted. However, exceptions may be considered for special and unavoidable circumstances. *The fee for each accompanying guest of a student is EURO190. Seats for guest is on first come first serve basis.
